1st Annual Workshop on Maritime Security, Brussels, Belgium, 19 - 21 January 2010

The Regional Marine Pollution Emergency Response Centre for the Mediterranean Sea (REMPEC) as the implementing body of the Safemed II Project, is organizing the 1st Annual Workshop on Maritime Security at the Crowne Plaza Europa Hotel, in Brussels, Belgium, from the 19 to the 21 January 2010, in close cooperation with the European Commission, DG TREN, Unit G-2.

Besides exchanging views and experiences, during this 1st Annual Workshop, the Terms of Reference and the Work Programme of these Workshops will be discussed and agreed upon. The designation of the Chairman, to be elected from amongst the beneficiaries, to chair these Annual Workshops will also be carried out at this 1st Annual Workshop.
